Jungle Bells at the San Diego Zoo. The Zoo will be aglow with holiday cheer and activities to keep the whole family jolly. The Forward House in Bankers Hill. Santa will make a pre-Christmas stop in his sleigh at 108 Ivy St. (1st & Ivy). Built in 1905 for SD Mayor John Forward Sr, Nov. 28 – Dec. 31, 5–10 pm 619-533-7900.

South Park’s Luminaria Season. Trees, lamp posts, roofs and courtyards all decorated with lights. Along 30th St. and Fern St. from Juniper to Grape to Beech. Nov.22 – Jan. 8.



Mission Bay Christmas Boat Parade of Lights. Over 100 vessels. Begins on Quivira Basin. Dec. 14, starts at 6 pm. 858-488-0501.

SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration. SeaWorld is decked out with more than a million holiday lights, a 40-ft. tree with an animated light show set to music, and a 140-ft. walkthrough Tunnel of Lights.

Visit Rudolph’s Christmastown, check out holiday-themed animal shows. New this year is the ice skating spectacular Winter Wonderland on Ice, Sesame Street Christmas Village, and Cirque Christmas, a “Nutcracker”-themed show. Nov. 23 – Jan. 5.

Botanic Wonderland Holiday Nights in the Garden. Unveiling a reimagined holiday festival centered around the Dickinson Family Education Conservatory.
